History on Tour

In October and November, the lecture series "History on Tour" will take place. Two of the three lectures will be held at the Vintschgau Museum:

The series kicks off on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 7:00 PM with historian Lorenzo Vianini delivering his lecture titled "Via Rasella in South Tyrolean Memory. Myths, Legends, and Narratives about the Police Regiment 'Bozen' (1944–2024)."

On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM, Francesca Brunet will present her lecture "Border Lives. 'Vagrancy' in Tyrol and along the Tyrolean borders between the 19th and 20th centuries" at the Vintschgau Museum.

The series concludes on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the Schlandersburg Central Library, with Stefan Lechner presenting his lecture on the resettlement and relocation of intellectually and physically disabled women, men, and children from South Tyrol between 1939 and 1945.
