Activities around Reschensee lake in South Tyrol

There’s the perfect setting for every sport

Filling your leisure time with activities is child’s play in our holiday region in western South Tyrol. Adventure awaits at every turn: high in the air, in the mountain ranges, on alpine pastures and lakes. The Obere Vinschgau promises amazing adventures for everyone who likes to take off or test their aim.

Runners are drawn to the many marked routes around Reschensee lake, the venue of the famous Reschenseelauf run. Trail running routes lead through varied landscapes and guarantee diverse sporting challenges for all fitness levels. While everything is running smoothly, motorcyclists enjoy the winding roads leading into the rustic side valleys and over the passes of the region.

Saddle up, mount your horse and ride off - that’s always an option too. Cross meadows and forests on guided rides with a dreamlike mountain backdrop, watch the children enjoy pony rides at the riding stables or discover the uniqueness of our region on a relaxed carriage ride.

Climbing fans can get their adrenaline kicks on secured climbing routes on the rocks in the tripoint area. And paragliders soar even higher. As one of the most popular regional paragliding spots, Watles offers ideal conditions for tandem flights with professionals. Archers also combine fun and nature on the 3D archery courses on Watles and in the Talai forest near St. Valentin.

Let the fun begin!
