Family holidays in South Tyrol can be so adventurous

Children experience everything through play

Every day becomes an adventure for the whole family. Solve riddles with Talli in the Talai forest in St. Valentin, explore nature at the biotope in Schluderns or get smart about animals on the Gumperle path in Prad - their thirst for discovery grows with every step.

Marvel at ancient giant trees, follow mysterious trails to the Salige Anna, or simply burn off some energy at one of the many inviting playgrounds in the Holiday region Reschensee lake. With so much on offer, children’s hearts are bound to leap with joy.

Younger action fans will be in their element high above the valley on the Watles adventure mountain, while lovers of tranquillity immerse themselves in the enchanting elements of nature. Look forward to unforgettable hours in this family paradise.

High above Burgeis, summer joy is at its best. No wonder. Hiking trails, a 3D archery course, mountain carts, an e-trial course and the popular interactive play lake make Watles the number one family hotspot. Here, young and old alike are in their element.

 Tallis Sagenwald

Treasure hunters take note: on a three-kilometre adventure trail through the Talai forest, Talli invites you to join in with exciting riddles, funny stories and thrilling activity stations. Curious explorers will love putting their detective skills to the test.

Schluderns biotope

Discover South Tyrol’s largest riparian forest! 19 interactive stations, an oversized bird’s nest and an exciting floodplain model line the two-and-a-half kilometre nature experience trail. Here, explorers both large and small will forget all about time.

Gumperle path

Learning becomes an adventure on the Gumperle forest animal trail. This lovingly designed experience path sets young nature explorers on the right track. With a great desire for discovery, children gather exciting knowledge about the lives of forest animals.

Ancient spruces

A unique natural wonder in the Stilfserjoch national park: on the family-friendly hike near Rifair, you’ll encounter three impressive, 500 years old ancient spruces stretching up some 40 metres high and boasting a trunk circumference of 4.25 metres. These gentle giants welcome all visitors for a hug.

Family hike to the Salige Anna

A magical, interactive nature adventure, accompanied by the legendary figure herself. Along the hike to the Salige Anna, stories, riddles and playful water-themed stations captivate young adventurers - from the spring to the sunken village.

Playgrounds

Children need space to run wild. We have plenty of that! Numerous lovingly designed playgrounds, from classic layouts to modern adventure areas with slides, carousels and rope swings, promise endless fun for energetic little explorers.
