The wonder of water

Kiting

Constantly reliable southerly winds and an altitude of almost 1,500 metres above sea level make Reschensee lake one of the highest kite surfing spots in Europe. Beginners practise in the shallow-water area and free-stylers can enjoy airtime out on the open lake from May to October.

Sailing

With its 6 km length and consistently good wind conditions, Reschensee lake is a popular stage for sailors from near and far. Enjoy sporty stretches and leisurely laps circling the sunken tower and offering the most beautiful natural scenery.

Water activities

Thanks to the pedal boat rental at the small harbour in Reschen, you can explore Reschensee lake on your own from early July to the end of September. While some are pedalling, others glide along at paddle pace in a kayak. A lake trip on a stand-up paddle-board rounds off the water adventure.

Fishing

Cast your fishing line at the lakes Reschensee and Haidersee, along the Etsch river, or at the Faulensee and Burgeiser Bergsee lakes. Trout, char and grayling bite from the lake and river shores all the way to the fishing ponds in Glurns and Stilfs.
