A summer to remember. On the Watles adventure mountain, hiking trails, breathtaking views and opportunities for playing come together to create a true Eldorado for families. Even the scenic ride up from Prämajur on the four-seater chairlift is an experience in itself. Young and old can enjoy the calm before the storm - the storm of adventure - as they soar up to 2,150 metres above sea level.
Watles is the starting point for numerous well-marked, family-friendly hikes, some leading all the way to Schlinig. The circular hikes with magnificent panoramic views over the valley and mountain paradise of the Oberer Vinschgau are a delight to behold.
The Watles adventure mountain offers numerous other attractions. Families can splash about at the interactive play lake, test their aim on the 3D archery course or race downhill on mountain carts. Children and young-at-heart acrobats on two wheels can push their limits on the e-trial course at the mountain station.
And for a well-earned break: cosy alpine huts with spacious sun terraces and typical regional delicacies invite you to relax. Whether at the Plantapatschhütte or the little snack bar at the valley station, warm and welcoming moments are guaranteed everywhere.
A little reminder: if you want to arrive as comfortable and stress-free as possible, take the public bus line 277 straight to the valley station.

Everything happens on Watles
There’s so much to do on the adventure mountain: sharpen your senses for water at the interactive play lake, conquer South Tyrol’s first and highest free running course, hit the bull’s-eye on the 3D archery course or feel the adrenaline rush on the mountain carts. While families enjoy endless fun at high altitude, bikers can ride the flowing e-trail course at the mountain station and follow the bike path back down to the valley station.

At the 1,500 m² interactive play lake right next to the mountain station, families can enjoy an exciting world of fun completely free of charge. Whether rafting, discovering the waterfall, splashing in the stream, relaxing on wooden loungers or lingering at one of the inviting picnic areas - little explorers and grown-up pleasure-seekers will have a wonderful time.
Just above Burgeis at the Watles mountain station, visitors can look forward to an exciting 3D archery course with 28 animal figures, a practice range and a well-equipped archery rental. Enjoy the perfect conditions to immerse yourself in the world of archery.

A high-speed highlight on the adventure mountain: On three wheels you ride from the mountain station down a four-kilometre forest road to the valley. With no motor, noise or emissions, these environmentally friendly mountain carts offer wonderful riding fun for young and old alike.

Motor sport enthusiasts both young and old get their money’s worth at the mountain station. On the e-trial “training ground”, young and young-at-heart acrobats test their skills on two wheels. Even beginners can take on this sporting challenge - it’s often the start of a brand-new passion.
