The cultural festival "sui do 2026 – a viecherei", organised by the Upper Vinschgau Community Cooperative (BGO), explores agriculture as a cultural, social and environmental topic. Throughout one week, art, music, theatre, local food, expert discussions and community activities come together in an interdisciplinary festival for all generations.
Programme highlights:
- Exhibitions, installations and cultural activities at the festival centre
- Music and choir workshops with concerts and spontaneous performances
- Theatre, street performances and children's activities
- Guided cultural hikes combined with regional cuisine
- Symposium "The Barn of the Future in the Alpine Region"
- Collaborative construction of a community bread oven as an art installation
- Festival finale featuring an innovative cattle show, presentation of the week's results, concerts and a closing dance celebration
The festival aims to inspire dialogue on the future of agriculture, culture and community life in the Upper Vinschgau, inviting both locals and visitors to participate, exchange ideas and celebrate together.
