On the occasion of the Vinschger Palabira Days, specialties based on the old pear variety are tasted and sold. Cultural and informative events are offered, with tried-and-tested activities repeated and new ideas introduced.

Sale of Palabira pears and Palabira products at the themed market in the Glurns arcades.
Agricultural Festival on 11th and 12th September 2026. For two days, the people, products, and traditions of local agriculture take center stage.
Films will be shown, panel discussions with key representatives of agriculture will be held, all accompanied by music and culinary delights.
13.09.2026 – Morning Hike “Morgenerwachen”: A poetic look at summer. Meeting point is at 07:00 AM at the Frauenkirche in the city center.
16.09.2026 – Glurns Cooks: At this culinary event, the smallest town in South Tyrol transforms into a stage for regional gastronomy. Talented chefs present creative dishes made from premium ingredients live and spotlight the Palabira pear.
20.09.2026 – Palabirasunnta: The festival concludes with the harvest Thanksgiving celebration. After the church procession, festivities begin at 10:00 AM at the “Glurns Festival”. There will be music, traditional dishes, and a great program for children.
