Starting from the sports field in Reschen, the trail leads through snow-covered forests and peaceful clearings up to the impressive anti-tank barriers on Plamort. These historic defensive structures, with their distinctive concrete obstacles known as "dragon's teeth", tell the fascinating story of this border region.
Along the way, you'll discover interesting facts about the area's history while enjoying beautiful winter scenery and breathtaking views of Lake Reschen and the surrounding mountains.
The approximately four-hour tour combines nature, outdoor activity and history. A good level of fitness and suitable footwear are required.

Arrival
By public transport:
Take bus 273 to the "Reschen Zentrum" stop. From there, follow the signs to the sports field, approximately a 10-minute walk away.
By car:
Follow the SS40 main road to Reschen. In the village centre, turn towards the sports field and follow the signs. Free parking is available at the sports field.

Waterproof winter hiking boots with good grip
Snowshoes and hiking poles (please check rental options in advance)
Warm, weatherproof clothing in layers
